چکیده

Intense emission lines of near{IR molecular hydrogen are excited in OMC{1 by shocks, as outtowing gas from the star forming core interacts with the surrounding molecular cloud. These have been studied in OMC{1 in far greater detail than in any other astronomical source. They provide both a picture of the energetic activity associated with massive star formation, and stringent constraints on models for shock emission. They also ooers insights into the way winds interact with, and sweep up, interstellar gas. This review discusses the current state of observations of molecular hydrogen line emission from OMC{1, and its interpretation in the context of shock models and magnetohydrodynamical instabilities.

Comparison of the Effects of Hydrogen and Hydroxygen Additions and Oxygen Enrichment on the Emission Characteristics of EF7 Engine

In this study, the effects of hydrogen and hydroxygen additions and oxygen enrichment on the emission characteristics of a gasoline engine (EF7) were investigated and compared with each other. The simulation was launched by GT-Power at different engine speeds with 5 % to 15 % volume fractions for both of oxygen and hydrogen enrichment and 4.5 % to 9 % volume fractions of hydroxygen addition in ...

Exhaust Emission Analysis of an Internal Combustion Engine Fuelled with Hydrogen-Ethanol Dual Fuel

The work presented in this paper is an attempt to evaluate the exhaust emission characteristics of a hydrogen-ethanol dual fuel combination with different percents of hydrogen substitutions (i.e. 0-80 % by volume and of 20 % increment ) at three different compression ratios of 7:1, 9:1 and 11:1. Experimental investigations have been carried out on a computer interfaced with; four-stroke cycle, ...

An Investigate on Power, Torque and Exhaust Gas Emission Variation: Effect of Hydroxy Gas Addition to Inlet Air of a SI Engine

Hydrogen has been known as a clean and suitable fuel to replace conventional fossil fuels. One of the common hydrogen production methods is using water electrolysis process. This method produces oxygen as well as hydrogen by ratio of 1:2. The aim of this work is to investigate the effects of inlet air enrichment by adding produced hydrogen and oxygen to an internal combustion engine. For this p...

Hydrogen and Ethanol as Potential Alternative Fuels Compared to Gasoline under Improved Exhaust Gas Recirculation

In the present study, a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method have been utilized to investigate the effects of exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and initial charge pressure by means of using a supercharger on the emissions and performance of a SI engine. This engine is fueled separately by gasoline and two potential alternative fuels, hydrogen and ethanol. The results of simulation are compar...

NICMOS Imaging of Molecular Hydrogen Emission in Seyfert Galaxies

We present NICMOS imaging of broad band and molecular hydrogen emission in Seyfert galaxies. In 6/10 Seyferts we detect resolved or extended emission in the 1-0 S(1)λ2.121μm or 1-0 S(3)λ1.9570μm molecular hydrogen lines. We did not detect emission in the most distant galaxy or in the 2 Seyfert 1 galaxies in our sample because of the luminosity of the nuclear point sources. In NGC 5643, NGC 2110...
